More Pictures from Fall 2009!

WWWOOOOOOAOAAAAHHHH!!!

WWWWEEEEEEEE!!!!!

This was my second halloween costume. My first one was way too hot because it was so warm outside, so I dressed up as a cute little street-wise vixen with an attitude (and a tatoo!)

Here's me and my friend Georgie. He is dressed up as a lion but he's taking a break & I'm hanging out with him.

Here is my first costume. Me and Aurora went as bugs!

Here I am at Georgie's birthday party.

Mommy took this one when I refused to nap one day and I got so tired that I just kind of came to a grinding halt.

Here I am playing around at the fair.

OK, that's it for now but I'll have daddy post some more after Thanksgiving!

LOOOOOONG OVERDUE UPDATE!

Hello! Really sorry for the laps in updates on little Mira! We've gone through numerous technical issues and we've finally moved into a house in Raleigh again!

Mira has grown up so much since the last post (around the time she was 1 year old). She can now run, jump, climb, slide, throw balls and give and receive hugs and kissies! She is really understanding words and conversation, and she is learning new words on a weekly basis.

She's known words like mama, dada and baba for a while. Now she knows (and can say) binky, duck, dog, kitty, hi, bye-bye, open, close, yes, no and thank you. She knows how to "take the book to mommy" and also how to "go play in your playroom".

Here are some pictures taken over the last several months.

My hair is getting long!

Here is one of my first modelling poses. Daddy took this one while we were tailgating for an NC State football game.

Mommy dressed me up in this cute outfit and I was looking sooooo good!

Mommy caught me in the act of helping mommy organize her wax paper supply!

Here I am collecting shells on the beach with my aunt Terri. We were looking for sea glass.

I'm playing "run away from daddy!"

Here I am with Grammy. We're waving hi for the camera.

Grammy taught me that it is important to stay hydrated at the beach! I learned how to drink through straws, and I put my skills to good use.

BIRTHDAY!!

Well, no need right now to hold back on the pictures. You can insert your own commentary until I fill in the blanks!

Oklahoma Trip!

After one long day in Oklahoma, I got hungry and tired and started crying...at least that's the official story that Daddy and Uncle Benny told me to say if people asked about why they were spitting on me!

But Daddy was able to cheer me up! Daddy says I'm his little sausage. I don't know what sausage tastes like but I do know it smells real good.

If you come any closer, I will strike you down with my squeaky fishy!

Nana, Me and Grammy had lots of laughs!

People liked when I ran. I liked to give the people what they wanted!

Pretty much the first thing we did when we got to Tulsa was to go and see Grandma Remke. She was having lunch when we got there, so Daddy took us to his favorite lunch place. I was hungry and the food was nummy!

Daddy warned me that the food is filling and makes you sleepy. Daddy's always right! (psschaa!)

I had a fun time meeting my Grandma Remke! She was nice to me and tickled me and made me laugh! She's going to be out of that bed soon but she's just resting right now.

I met Leo at the wedding...Daddy says he's my "great uncle". I just think he's my OLD uncle. But, he was funny and Daddy likes him! Daddy said that he still had a strong grip...for someone of his maturity level...Daddy said that the Plummer's would get it...whatever that means.

Me and Daddy did lots of dancing...he said this one was a cross between the Teen Wolf prom dance and Michael Jackson's "Thriller". It was pretty hot in there so I'm pretty sure he was just talking crazy - probbly had a fever or something.

I got a good nappy at the wedding...couldn't help it.

6/17/09 Mira's First Beach Trip!

I went to the beach before our trip to Oklahoma. I liked the water and sand with all kinds of stuff in it. Some grass, some shells and some critters...but it all tasted salty.

There were surfers around the pier. I think they were checking me out but daddy probbly intimidated them. He's the baddest dude ever...

Beach blankets are like diapers...it's way more fun to mess up a clean one!

Me & Mommy like the wind.

Daddy said that if I looked over at Mommy, she would take the best picture of me playing at the beach...so I did!

The beach is so much fun!
